Z. Serpil Gonen Williams

Z. Serpil Gonen Williams has worked in various roles since 1997. Z. Serpil began as a Graduate Student at the University of Maryland in 1997. In 2002, they joined Pixelligent Technologies as a Project Leader and Staff Scientist. In 2009, they became the Vice President of Product Development and Operations at Pixelligent Technologies, LLC. In this role, they were the Principal Investigator on an $8+ million multi-team government grant to scale up nanocrystal production. Z. Serpil also recruited a manufacturing team, led the transition of products from R&D to production, and organized the day-to-day operations of the production team. In 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Pixelligent Technologies.

Z. Serpil Gonen Williams completed a BS in Chemistry Education from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 1989 and 1994. Z. Serpil then went on to complete an MS in Inorganic Chemistry from the same university between 1994 and 1997. Finally, Williams completed their PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Maryland in 2002.
