Lior Hesed has a strong background in cloud technology and software development. Lior is currently working as the Cloud Technical Leader at Pixellot, where they lead a team responsible for the cloud backend that supports the company's AI-Automated Sports Production. Lior has achieved significant milestones in their role, including reducing bugs to practically zero, designing scalable backend components, implementing new services, and shifting environments to Kubernetes. Lior has also improved system security, recruited and mentored team members, and designed a CI/CD process using a gitops approach. Lior's earliest work experience was at Sterna Technologies, where they served as a Technical Manager and Lead C++ Developer. Lior co-founded the startup's R&D department, designed and developed the company's core product, and established work methods and procedures. Lior also worked as a Development Manager and Architect at Elbit, and as a Team Leader and Software Developer at Mitam.

Lior Hesed has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business management and organizational Behavior from Tel Aviv University, which was obtained from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, Lior earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, with studies taking place between 1995 and 1998. Lior's education history also includes completing high school at Miterani, where the field of study was Computer science, from 1988 to 1992.

In addition to the formal education, Lior Hesed obtained the Codility Golden Award for the Aluminium 2014 Challenge from Codility in July 2014.
