Yaniv Simons

Yaniv Simons has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to technical and operational management in the field of media events and sports broadcasting.

Yaniv started their career as a Senior Technical Director at Channel 10 News in 2003, where they excelled until 2014. During this time, they gained expertise in operating broadcast switchers and managing systems in studios and outside broadcasting events.

In 2012, Yaniv served as the Head of Technical Director for OBS - TLVP during the London Basketball Olympics. Yaniv later joined FIBA - TLVP in 2014 as the Head of Technical Director for the Israeli broadcast team in the World Basketball Championship.

In 2005, Yaniv ventured into self-employment, taking up the roles of Technical Director and Operational Projects Manager. Yaniv managed technical projects for prominent media events such as Channel 10 News, Sport Channel, and Sport1. Yaniv successfully implemented methods and practices while operating as a senior vision mixer at major sports events like the Football Champions League and Basketball Euroleague. Yaniv'srole ended in 2015.

Yaniv's most recent role was at Pixellot, where they served as a Hardware Product Manager starting from October 2017. Yaniv also held the position of Integration Project Manager since February 2015.

Yaniv Simons pursued an education in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Open University - Israel, where they obtained an MBA degree with honors in Marketing and Management. Prior to that, Yaniv completed their Bachelor's degree in Media and TV from Sapir College, between the years 1994 and 1998. The field of study for their Bachelor's degree is not specified.
