Andrew Sands ► MEET ME AT SXSW / GDC

Andrew Sands has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andrew co-founded PixelMax in November 2020 and is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Operations Lead. At PixelMax, Andrew's role involves providing support and enabling manufacturers to drive growth and productivity through the adoption of industrial digitalization technologies. Andrew works closely with leading research facilities and specialists in the field.

Before PixelMax, Andrew held the position of Commercial Manager at a company called Hobs Studio from December 2014 to June 2019. Hobs Studio specializes in providing innovative 3D solutions for architectural, engineering, construction, and product design industries. Andrew's responsibilities included managing commercial operations and utilizing various technologies for rapid prototyping and digital visualization.

Prior to their time at Hobs Studio, Andrew worked at Trinity Mirror plc from August 2000 to November 2014 in various roles. Andrew started as a Sales Coordinator and gradually progressed to Sales Manager and finally served as a Business Development Manager.

In 2018, Andrew began exploring new opportunities and held the position of Commercial Manager before joining PixelMax.

Andrew Sands attended West Derby Comprehensive from 1990 to 1994. Andrew then attended Wade Deacon High School from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained their GCSE's. From 1996 to 1998, they attended Cronton Sixth Form College, where they studied English and IT and earned their A Level degree.
