Joost Alferdinck

Joost Alferdinck has had a diverse range of work experiences. Joost is currently working as the Chief Product Officer at Dtail since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at PixelPool as the Chief Product Officer from February 2020 and as the Global Creative Lead from January 2017 to February 2020. Joost also held the positions of Lead Designer from November 2015 to December 2016, Project Manager from March 2014 to November 2015, and 3D Artist from October 2013 to November 2015 at PixelPool.

Before their time at PixelPool, Joost had a brief stint as a Contest Winner / Design Intern at Touring Superleggera and Ruote Borrani in September 2013. Joost also worked as a Graduate Student at SABIC from October 2012 to June 2013. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc degree in Design for Interaction / Automotive Design at TU Delft from September 2009 to June 2013. During their time at TU Delft, they also worked as a Student Assistant for Design Drawing from September 2009 to September 2011, where they assisted in teaching freehand drawing techniques to bachelor students in design.

Joost Alferdinck attended Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem from 1998 to 2004, where they pursued their secondary education. After that, they joined Delft University of Technology, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design Engineering from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Joost continued their education at Delft University of Technology and obtained a Master of Science degree in Design for Interaction from 2008 to 2013.
