Cory Virs has extensive experience in visual effects compositing, having held various roles in reputable companies within the industry. Currently serving as Lead Compositor at PIXOMONDO since February 2023, Cory previously worked at Encore as Compositing Supervisor and Compositing Lead from December 2017 to February 2023. Prior experience includes a Senior Compositor position at Warner Bros. on the television show 'Supernatural,' where digital compositing and matte painting skills were developed from March 2015 to December 2017. Early career highlights feature roles at Technicolor and Stargate Digital, contributing to projects like 'White Noise II' and popular television series such as 'Desperate Housewives' and 'Las Vegas.' Cory's foundational training in the field was completed at Vancouver Film School between 1996 and 1997, leading to a progressive career beginning in 1998 at Sextant Entertainment Group.
