Robert Gold currently serves as Associate General Counsel at PIXOMONDO since May 2023. Previously, Robert held the position of General Counsel and Director of Business and Legal Affairs at the Toronto International Film Festival from September 2015 to April 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Counsel for Business and Legal Affairs at Entertainment One from April 2014 to August 2015, and as a Lawyer at Levine Sherkin Boussidan from March 2011 to April 2014. Robert began the legal career as an Articling Student at Goodmans LLP from August 2009 to June 2010 and had previously completed a summer student position there in May to August 2008. Additionally, a summer law student in Industrial Relations at Loblaw Companies Limited in 2007 provided early exposure to legal practice. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Toronto (2006-2009) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from McGill University (2002-2006), with ongoing studies at Georgetown University Law Center since 2008.
