Azka Iqbal is a dedicated medical student and researcher with diverse experiences in leadership and public health initiatives. Currently serving as a Summer Research Student at the University of Pennsylvania and Medical Student Researcher at Emory University School of Medicine, Azka has a significant role in the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) as President, overseeing the largest club on campus with over 600 active members. Involved in multiple capacities within AMSA, including Vice President of Membership and Recruitment and Public Relations Director, Azka has developed strategies to enhance member engagement and organized recruitment events. As the Director of the Standing Committee on Public Health for the International Federation of Medical Students Association, Azka facilitates global collaboration on public health issues. Alongside academic pursuits, Azka has served as a Case Investigator for the Georgia Department of Public Health and holds brand ambassador roles with Jaanuu and Pixorize. Azka graduated with a double major in Neuroscience and Biology from Georgia State University and is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the School of Medicine.
