Michael Deal

Michael Deal has been working in the design industry since 2009. Michael began their career as a Design Intern at Alphabet Arm, followed by a Graphic Designer role at Pentagram. Michael then moved to Local Projects as an Interactive Designer, followed by a Designer role at Google Creative Lab. In 2014, they co-founded Statlas and held a Product Designer role at Splice.com. In 2017, they became an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Design Director at VICE Media, where they worked closely with the EVP, CD, and fellow Design Director to build an integrated design system across TV and web platforms. In 2021, they began their current role as Design Director at SuperRare.

Michael Deal attended Boston University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design. In 2013, they completed a Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly.
