Anais Deere

Anais Deere is a dedicated medical student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at UCL. Active in various roles since September 2021, Anais serves as an academic representative for UCL MBBS Year 1 and Year 2, and is involved in multiple UCL ChangeMakers projects focusing on mentorship schemes and study skills for medical students. As a member of the AMEE Student Task Force since June 2023, Anais contributes to the international health professions education community. Additional experience includes participation in the RUMS Medical Student Association and a research internship at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, where Anais presented work on microglial cell apoptosis. Complementing academic endeavors, Anais has worked as a waitress and barista in various establishments.
