Gavin Smith

Gavin Smith has a strong background in the restaurant industry, having worked in various roles throughout their career. Gavin started off as a Managing Partner PCDG at Mitchells & Butlers in 2007 and served in that role until 2012. Following that, they worked as an Operations Manager at Browns Restaurants from 2012 to 2014. Gavin then joined Wahaca Restaurants as a Regional Operations Director, where they led the organic growth of the brand outside of London and focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences. In 2015, they became an Operations Director at Wahaca and held that position until 2018. Most recently, Gavin served as the Operations Director and eventually the Managing Director at Pizza Pilgrims, where they played a crucial role in overseeing the company's operations.

Gavin Smith's education history begins in 1998 when they attended the University of Birmingham. Gavin completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in Hospitality and Business Management in 2001.

After a gap of several years, Gavin pursued further education from 2010 to 2012 at Birmingham City University. There, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Multi Unit Hospitality Leadership.
