Mojtaba Hoshmand

Mojtaba Hoshmand is a seasoned engineer and program manager with extensive experience in electrical engineering and renewable energy projects. Currently serving as a Sr. Engineer/Program Manager at PJM Interconnection since October 2022, Mojtaba focuses on optimizing interconnection planning analysis in compliance with industry standards. Previous roles include Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell, where responsibilities involved designing high voltage substation systems, and Senior Business Development Consultant at Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, where Mojtaba successfully managed renewable energy projects totaling 100 MW capacity and led significant negotiations resulting in multimillion-dollar savings. With a master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Mojtaba has also contributed to academia as a Senior Instructor and Assistant Professor in project management and electrical engineering.
