Steve Pincus

Steve Pincus has extensive experience in the legal field, primarily in energy regulation. Steve started their career as a Contract Administrator at CIS Corporation in 1985 and later worked as an Attorney at Law for the UAW Legal Services Plan from 1986 to 1989. Steve then joined Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation as a Corporate Counsel in 1989, where they handled various regulatory and litigation matters. In 2000, they became the General Counsel & Secretary at Niagara Mohawk Energy Marketing, Inc. In 2002, they joined Con Edison as an Associate Counsel, representing the company in regulatory proceedings. From 2004 to 2011, Steve worked as a Senior Counsel at PJM Interconnection, where they focused on legal matters related to energy markets, transmission planning, and interconnection planning. Steve later served as the Assistant General Counsel, Director of Regulatory Oversight & Compliance at PJM Interconnection from 2011 to 2017, responsible for managing compliance programs. In 2017, Steve became an Associate General Counsel at PJM Interconnection, representing the company in energy regulatory proceedings and providing legal services and business advice. In 2023, they were promoted to Managing Counsel, Senior Director at PJM Interconnection.

Steve Pincus completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta from 1978 to 1982. Following this, they pursued higher education at Syracuse University College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 1982 to 1985.
