Thomas Devita

Thomas DeVita serves as Associate General Counsel at PJM Interconnection, providing regulatory counsel for the largest Regional Transmission Organization in the United States and supporting various divisions, including Markets, Operations, and Planning. Previous roles include Assistant General Counsel and Senior Counsel at Troutman Sanders LLP, where representation encompassed investor-owned utilities and merchant generators, as well as Associate Counsel at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, focusing on NERC regulatory matters. Early legal experience involved positions as a Law Clerk at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, Legal Intern at California ISO, Solar Energy Industries Association, and EDP Renewables. Thomas holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Wake Forest University.
