Michael Schlappig

Michael Schlappig is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in restructuring and reorganization. Currently serving as a Managing Director at PJT Partners since October 2015, Michael previously held the role of Vice President at The Blackstone Group from August 2010 to October 2015. Earlier career positions include Associate at Lazard from October 2005 to October 2008 and Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2004 to October 2005. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, earned between 2009 and 2010, and a BA in Economics from Cornell University, completed in 2004.
