Scott Mates

Scott Mates is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director at PJT Partners since October 2015, Scott previously held the position of Vice President at The Blackstone Group from December 2011 to October 2015. Additional roles include Research Analyst at Southpaw Asset Management, Associate at Citigroup Private Equity, and Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney. Scott holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, obtained between 2008 and 2010, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Babson College, completed in 2001.
