Akshara Walia

Akshara Walia has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Akshara started their career as a Summer Intern at Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks in 2008. Akshara then worked as a Graduate Trainee and Associate Consultant at Ipsos Business Consulting (formerly Synovate) from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Tourism Destination Management at NHTV University from 2011 to 2012, where they conducted individual research projects in APAC destinations. Akshara then worked as a Research Associate at Insight Alpha in 2012. Akshara later joined Abroader Consultancy in 2013 as a Business Consultant, where they engaged in various international consulting projects and developed sector reports for different industries. Currently, they are working as a Research Analyst and Research Director at PKF hotelexperts since 2016, utilizing their research skills in the tourism sector.

Akshara Walia completed their Masters degree in Tourism Destination Management from NHTV University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies from 2006 to 2009. Akshara also holds a Diploma in Spanish Language and Literature from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.
