Stefaan De Ceulaer has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Stefaan began their career as a Tax Lawyer at Tiberghien Lawyers in 1998 and later moved to PwC as a Senior Tax Consultant in 2002. Stefaan then transitioned to Siemens, where they served as the Tax Manager for Belgium and the Middle East and Africa from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they joined Nokia Siemens Networks as the Head of Tax for the Middle East and Africa region. In 2011, Stefaan joined Glencore Copper as the Manager of Tax and Compliance. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Tax and Legal Support at PKF International, a role they have been in since 2017. Additionally, Stefaan has also had a long history with the Belgian Defence, serving as an Army Reserve Officer, Military Pentathlon Competitor, and Counselor on the Law of Armed Conflicts from 1993 to 2005.
Stefaan De Ceulaer has a diverse education history. Stefaan began their studies at Heilig-hart college from 1981 to 1987, where they focused on Latin-Greek. Continuing their education, they attended KU Leuven from 1987 to 1991, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies with a specialization in Japanese. In 1991, they enrolled at VLEKHO Business School Brussel for a Postgraduate in Managerial Economics, which they completed in 1992. That same year, Stefaan also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at EU Business School. Following this, they attended the University of Antwerp from 1994 to 1998, obtaining a JD degree in law. In 1998, Stefaan pursued a specialization in LLM Tax Law with a focus on International tax law at Université libre de Bruxelles, completing it in 2000. Finally, they attended Thomas More University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2014, earning an Associate Degree in Accounting.
