Ari Buchalter

Ari Buchalter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the digital advertising and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Place Exchange since June 2018, Buchalter leads a company that specializes in programmatic out-of-home and place-based media, integrating advanced technology with digital advertising workflows. Prior to this role, Buchalter was the CEO of Intersection Co. from May 2017 to July 2021, where the focus was on enhancing information sharing in public spaces and connecting digital and physical environments. Earlier career positions include President and COO at MediaMath, Senior Partner at Rosetta, Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, and Managing Partner at Vega Capital Management. Buchalter holds a BS in Physics from Stanford University, a PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia University, and completed a postdoc in Astrophysics at Caltech.
