Brian Annis

Brian Annis is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Director of Site Reliability Engineering at Place Exchange since September 2019. In this role, Brian has spearheaded a significant FinOps cost avoidance initiative, managed key SaaS vendor relationships, and co-led the development of a new big data platform utilizing Airflow, Spark, and Kubernetes. Previously, Brian was a Tech Lead for Site Reliability Engineering at Place Exchange, where achievements included migrating applications to Kubernetes and ensuring a platform uptime of 99.92%. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Intersection Co. and as a DevOps Engineer at J.Crew, where Brian established the organization’s first DevOps role and automated extensive infrastructure processes. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Communication from Emerson College.
