Jim van Stratum has held various roles throughout their work experience. Jim started their career at Hockeyclub MHC de Warande as a Trainer/Coach from September 2004 to June 2011. Jim then worked as a TSO and BSO medewerker at Kinderopvang Mini Stek B.V. from March 2009 to June 2011. Following that, they worked as a Fysiotherapeut at Zuwe Snavelenburg from June 2011 to December 2011.

Jim then joined Marente, where they held the positions of Fysiotherapeut from January 2012 to May 2016 and Projectcoördinator from December 2015 to March 2017. During their time at Marente, they focused on areas such as orthopedics, prosthesis, gait analysis, and chronic somatics and psychogeriatrics. Jim was also involved in regional healthcare programs and implementation from scientific research.

In September 2016, Jim worked as a Projectcoördinator at Gezondheidscentrum Korte Akkeren, where they played a connecting role in the initiation and implementation of an inloop concept. Jim coordinated change processes and provided advice based on the needs and desires of the 15 involved disciplines.

Moving on, Jim worked at Pameijer as an HR-adviseur a.i. from April 2017 to May 2017. Jim then joined Plek as an Adviseur zorg & welzijn for a brief period in May 2017.

In November 2015, Jim joined Talent for Care as a Management trainee and held this role until December 2017. During their tenure, they gained experience in various projects and functions within the healthcare industry, focusing on personal leadership, business leadership, and healthcare leadership.

From September 2017 to November 2018, Jim worked as a KnowMad at deRotterdamseZorg. In this role, they used their expertise in healthcare and ICT to support labor market projects. Jim was responsible for product ownership, project management, impact analysis, and advising network organizations on knowledge sharing and online communication.

Jim then returned to Plek, where they had several roles. Jim first worked as a Social Advisor Zorg from December 2018 to November 2019, providing support and advice to the Plek team in the healthcare sector. Subsequently, they held the position of Senior Consultant & Adviseur zorg from November 2019 to November 2021, focusing on sales, advice, and implementation of Plek in the healthcare sector. Jim then became the Teamlead consultants from December 2021 to July 2022, responsible for implementing, advising, and onboarding new Plek clients.

Currently, Jim is working at Plek as a Teamed consultants & client success, where they are part of a team responsible for daily support, advisory projects, implementation guidance, and account management for over 350 Plek clients. Jim also works on the development and design of new advisory forms in internal communication, employee onboarding, employee satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Jim van Stratum started their education at Mgr. Frencken College, where they completed their Havo degree in Natuur & Gezondheid from 1999 to 2005. Jim then attended Avans University of Applied Sciences for one year in 2005-2006, completing the Propedeusejaar in Fysiotherapie/Fysiotherapeut. Jim continued their education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2006 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of health science in Fysiotherapie/Fysiotherapeut. Most recently, they undertook a Management Traineeship at Talent for Care from 2015 to 2017.
