Zubin Wang

Zubin Wang is a Senior Backend Engineer at Placements.io. Zubin has over fifteen years of experience in software engineering and web development. Zubin has worked for companies such as Outreach.io, Amazon, and Microsoft. At Outreach.io, they were a Principal Software Engineer and was responsible for full stack web development, designing and delivering features from end to end, and deploying and running multiple services on AWS infrastructure. Zubin also crafted a centralized identity management service integrating third party identity providers, such as OAuth2, Open ID Connect, and SAML SSO. In addition, Zubin designed and implemented a backend system to sync calendar events with Office365 (Graph REST api) and Exchange (EWS SOAP api). At Amazon, Zubin worked as a Software Development Engineer. And at Microsoft, they worked as a Software Design Engineer in Test. Zubin has experience with various programming languages and technologies, such as Rails API, React.js, MySQL, Redis, CouchDB, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Ruby, Javascript, and Python.

Zubin Wang attended Tsinghua University for their BS in Electrical Engineering and then went on to Stanford University for their MS in Computer Science.
