Elise Baker

Elise S. F. Baker, Esq., created PLACER LAW GROUP, APC after 25 years in the legal profession. She completed her undergraduate studies in southern California at California State University, Northridge. While a student at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, Elise excelled, graduating in 1998 with distinction and earning high honors. During law school, she participated in McGeorge’s Community Legal Services program as a student lawyer.

Elise became a stay-at-home mom for several years after her first child was born. When she was ready to go back to work full-time, Elise decided to open a law practice that would allow her to continue spending time with her family. She lives in Rocklin with her family and also enjoys singing in a band.

Looking to create a local resource for quality estate planning professionals, Elise created the South Placer Estate Planning Council and is a lifetime member. Elise currently serves on the Placer Community Foundation’s Giving Circle. In the past, she has participated on the Sutter Heritage Advisors, supporting the Sutter Medical Foundation. Elise also served on the board of directors for Stand Up Placer, Placer County’s sexual assault and domestic violence crisis intervention center, and remains involved with the organization.

Elise presents regularly to professional and community organizations to raise awareness about the importance of quality estate planning. She has educated estate planning professionals and others on such topics as Estate Planning Basics, The Difference Between Wills and Trusts, and Guardianships and Conservatorships.
