Elise Nelson

Elise Nelson is a legal professional with extensive experience in public agency law, currently serving as Deputy General Counsel with the Placer County Water Agency since May 2021, and previously held the position of Deputy County Counsel for Placer County from July 2016 to May 2021. Earlier in the career, Elise worked as an Associate Attorney at Neumiller & Beardslee and completed a legal internship with Somach Simmons & Dunn. Elise began the legal trajectory during studies at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor in 2014, following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. Additionally, Elise gained valuable experience as a Summer Associate at Herum\Crabtree Attorneys and completed internships that contributed to a well-rounded legal foundation.
