Jennifer Gastelum is an experienced urban planner with a strong background in housing and community development. Currently serving as a Principal at PlaceWorks since September 2018, Jennifer previously held the position of Associate Principal. Prior experience includes serving as the Housing and Community Development Service Lead at Michael Baker International from December 2004 to September 2018, where responsibilities encompassed managing essential planning documents for municipalities, such as Housing Elements and Consolidated Plans. Earlier in Jennifer's career, an Associate Planner role was held at Parsons from July 2000 to November 2004. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in City Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an Associate of Arts from American River College, complemented by foundational education at El Camino.
