Ergün Carus

Ergün Carus currently serves as the General Manager of Manufacturing Operations for both Chocolate and Bakery Products at pladis Global, overseeing operations in Turkey with a workforce of over 2,500. Prior to this role, Ergün held the position of Director of Global Technology & Engineering at Eti, managing technology and R&D functions. Ergün's extensive experience also includes serving as Plant Director at Hayat Kimya, where responsibilities focused on operational leadership in the Fabric & Home Care sector, and various technical and engineering roles at Procter & Gamble, where significant achievements in capacity expansion and safety culture development were noted. Ergün holds a High Honour degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, further complemented by early internships at renowned companies in the field of engineering.
