Ajit Deshpande

Ajit Deshpande currently serves as the Head of Business Technology at Plaid since April 2024. Previously, Ajit held several senior positions, including Vice President of Information Technology at Lacework and VP, Head of IT and Business Systems at Sumo Logic. At Zuora, Ajit was the Sr. Director - Head of Business Systems, overseeing Zuora's business technology stack and leading technical due diligence during the acquisition of Leeyo Software. Prior roles include Director of Business Applications & Architecture at Splunk, where Ajit developed a global team for enterprise integration, and Manager of SOA, Middleware, and Integrations at VMware. Earlier experience also includes roles at Align Technology Inc. as Software Development Manager and Kivera Inc. as Software Engineer. Ajit began the career as a Developer at Louisiana State University after earning a Master's degree in Engineering from the same institution.
