Richie O'Brien M.Sc, B. Com has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Richie started their career as a Group project manager during their undergraduate studies at NUIG, where they demonstrated strong project management skills. Richie then worked as a Salesman at SUPERVALU before joining Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts as an Internship - Marketing Management Trainee, where they handled marketing operations for multiple five-star properties.

Afterwards, Richie worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Morgan McKinley, specializing in recruitment within the Construction & Engineering sector. Richie then joined adidas, starting as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter for the MENA region and later transitioning to a Senior Manager position, responsible for HR Talent and leading HR Transformation programs.

Following their tenure at adidas, Richie joined Amazon as a Senior Program Manager in HR for Europe, and then Careem as a Senior Manager, where they led HR transformation programs and culture development initiatives. Currently, they serve as the Head of HR Business Partnering for Property Finder in the UAE and Turkey, overseeing HR functions for Product, Technology, and Marketing departments.

Throughout their career, Richie has demonstrated expertise in HR, project management, talent acquisition, and culture development. Their experience spans multinational organizations and they have a proven track record of driving success in various roles and industries.

Richie O'Brien holds a Master's degree in Strategy, Innovation, and People Management from the University of Galway, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to their Master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Human Resources Management and Services at the same university from 2007 to 2011.
