Allen Chen

Allen Chen is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in product development and infrastructure. Currently serving as an Engineering Leader at Plaid since May 2021, Allen leads 10 engineering teams focused on customer and consumer experiences. Previous roles at Plaid also include leading engineering teams for Link and core Payments products. Before Plaid, Allen worked at Twitter from 2013 to May 2021, holding positions as Engineering Manager for Conversations & Fleets and Timelines Infrastructure, as well as a Senior Software Engineer. Allen's earlier experience includes work at Google in risk engineering and as a student researcher at UC Berkeley RAD/AMP Lab. Allen earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
