John Pitts

John Pitts is the Head of Policy at Plaid. John previously worked as the Deputy Assistant Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from March 2013 to September 2018. Prior to that, they were an Attorney Advisor in Intergovernmental Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from January 2012 to March 2013. John also worked as Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from October 2007 to January 2012.

John Pitts attended Kenyon College for their A.B. in Political Science and then went on to University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School for their J.D. in Law.

They are on a team with and Shano Fonseka - Head of Risk. John Pitts reports to Sheila Jambekar, Chief Privacy Officer.
