Will Robinson

Will Robinson currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Plaid since May 2025, overseeing the technical teams including Engineering, Data Science, Security, and DevOps. Prior to this, Will was the Vice President of Engineering at Coinbase from September 2021 to May 2025, leading engineering for consumer-facing products starting March 2024. Will also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at ASAPP from December 2019 to August 2021, where responsibility extended to the entire technical organization focusing on AI-Native software. Before that, Will was the Chief Technology Officer at Google Cloud Security from December 2016 to December 2019 and played a significant role in enterprise cybersecurity, particularly with the independent company Chronicle. Will's extensive tenure at Google from August 2004 to December 2016 included key roles such as Sr. Engineering Director and Principal Software Engineer, involved in distributed systems and personal data management. Will holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Software Theory and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Stanford University.
