Diego Calvo Barreno

Diego Calvo Barreno serves as the Innovation Manager at Plain Concepts since September 2020, focusing on establishing the company as a global innovation leader by securing funding and managing R&D projects. Concurrently, Diego is a professor at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, guiding master's thesis work in data science for health applications, and has previously taught predictive analysis at IEBS Business School and information systems at Universidad de Valladolid. With a robust background in data science and project management, Diego held significant roles at Bravent in R&D project management and technical leadership, as well as positions at ALTEN SPAIN and DTU, specializing in Big Data and machine learning.
