Cameron Van Wyngarden

Cameron Van Wyngarden currently serves as the Superintendent for Plainfield Charter Township, a position held since May 2013. Prior to this role, Cameron was the Assistant City Manager for the City of Greenville, Michigan, where responsibilities included community development, zoning administration, grants administration, and transit management. Cameron's earlier experience includes consultancy at Anderson Economic Group, focusing on economic strategies, and as a Planning Research Analyst for Ottawa County, where efforts centered on assessing county program effectiveness and demographic data collection. Cameron began professional career as a Legislative Assistant in the Michigan House of Representatives, supporting elected officials with constituent relations and office operations. Cameron holds a Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business from Calvin University.
