Matthew Penney

Matthew Penney, P.Eng. has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as a Facilities Asset Integrity Engineer at Plains Midstream Canada since June 2014. Key responsibilities include planning inspections, assessing results, conducting fitness for service assessments, and implementing PCMS. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer at WorleyParsons, where contributions spanned environmental impact assessments and mechanical equipment management, as well as a secondment to Suncor Energy for project close-outs and documentation. Matthew also gained valuable experience in project controls with ExxonMobil and engineering positions at Syncrude Canada Ltd. and Xstrata Zinc. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University, completed in 2011.
