Michael J Lowe, CRCM has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Michael J started their career at Bank of America in 1991 as a Teller Coordinator, where they managed tellers and ensured adherence to policies and procedures. In 2000, they joined Capital One Auto Finance as a Funding Analyst, resolving issues related to missing loan contracts and providing problem resolution support. Michael J then moved to LegacyTexas (formerly ViewPoint Bank) in 2002 as an Operations Compliance/BSA Officer, where they developed and monitored compliance programs and supervised BSA/AML Analysts. Since 2011, they have been working at PlainsCapital Bank as a Vice President, Compliance Manager. In this role, they provide regulatory compliance expertise, advises on new regulations, assesses risk mitigation efforts, and manages a team.
Michael J Lowe, CRCM, obtained their education from two different institutions. From 1989 to 1992, they attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University, where they pursued a degree in Church Ministries with a focus on Youth Ministry. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, Michael J Lowe studied at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, although the exact degree they pursued during this time is unknown.
In addition to their educational background, Michael J Lowe has also obtained several certifications. In December 2013, they completed the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from the American Bankers Association. Prior to that, in November 2008, they obtained the Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP) certification from the Independent Community Bankers of America.
