Clare Celeste Börsch has had a long and successful career in the creative and non-profit sectors. In 2022, they began working as Senior Social Media and Campaigns Manager for Plan A, and Artist In Residence for One Resilient Earth. In 2018, they founded Clare Celeste Studio, where they grew social media from 0 to 38K and garnered international press coverage in The Guardian, Deutsche Welle, FAZ, and Oprah Magazine, among others. Clare Celeste was also commissioned internationally by clients such as UNESCO, dm, Resurgence Trust, Fridays for Future, Ted Countdown's Count Us In, and NY Magazine. In 2017, they worked as Communications Content and Strategic Communications Manager for Kiron Open Higher Education. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as OGP Grants and Professional Development Associate; AEPP Grants Manager for Los Angeles County Arts Commission. In 2010, they were Project Manager for LA Freewaves, and Policy Consultant and Project Manager for Kounkuey Design Initiative, Inc. Clare Celeste also worked as Presidential Management Fellow for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Research Associate for UCLA. In 2009, they were Public Policy Analyst and External Relations Intern for Women for Women International.

Clare Celeste Börsch has a diverse educational background. Clare Celeste is currently enrolled in the Learning for Action Fellowship at Terra.do, focusing on Climate Change Solutions. Previously, they obtained a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: Urban Nature: Connecting Cities, Sustainability and Innovation from Lund University in 2022, edX Verified Certificate for Nature-based Solutions for Disaster and Climate Resilience from edX in 2021, and Certified Mediator from Mediators Beyond Borders International in 2010.
