Michelle Bernard

Michelle Bernard is an experienced philanthropy professional with a robust background in planned giving and development. Currently serving as the Lead of Planned Giving at Plan International Canada since January 2023, Michelle has previously held leadership roles including Director of Philanthropy at One Girl Can and Director of Development at both SOS Children’s Village - BC and Zajac Ranch for Children. Other significant positions include Manager of Philanthropy at United Way of the Lower Mainland and Officer of Gift and Estate Planning at Covenant House Vancouver. Michelle's educational credentials include a degree in Philanthropy from the Sauder School of Business and training from various institutions, including the Indiana University Centre on Philanthropy and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
