Kathleen Sherwin currently serves as the Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer at Plan International, overseeing global external functions across 14 departments and leading a team of over 125 staff. Recruited by the new CEO in July 2022, Kathleen is a key member of the Global Executive Leadership Team and acts as the organization’s primary external representative. Prior to this role, Kathleen was appointed Transition CEO and Chief Operating Officer at Women Deliver, where leadership contributed to significant organizational growth. Additional engagements include serving as a Senior Advisor for the World Economic Forum, board member for Equal Measures 2030 and the Adolescent Girls Investment Plan, and previous consultative roles at The White House and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Kathleen holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Marketing Communications from Emerson College, along with executive training in negotiation at Harvard University.
