Sumant Kumar

Sumant Kumar is the Regional People and Culture Director for Asia Pacific at Plan International, where they provide leadership, technical support, and strategic direction for HR functions. Previously, Sumant worked as a Human Resources Delegate for the IFRC, overseeing recruitment and employee welfare across international delegations in Asia Pacific. Their career includes a role as Case Manager in the Human Resource Division for the Government of New Brunswick. Sumant holds a Bachelor's degree in International Development and History from Dalhousie University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Mary's University.
