Mattia Balestra

Mattia Balestra is an experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing and operations management. Currently serving as Responsable technique & qualité STB and a member of the management team at Planair SA since October 2019, Mattia previously held various senior roles at Falcon Technologies International LLC from December 2004 to July 2019, including Chief Operating Officer, where global responsibilities encompassed plant operations and the manufacturing of high-end Optical Discs. With a focus on LEAN manufacturing tools and employee development, Mattia led a multinational manufacturing team to implement innovative production concepts using methodologies such as TPM, 6 Sigma BTR, and 5S. Earlier career experiences include project management at 4M TECHNOLOGIES, overseeing critical machine projects in Asia and Europe, and serving as an Industrial Software Technician at Mikron Tool SA Agno, where responsibilities included PLC programming and testing for manufacturing machinery.
