Valerie Hillstadt-Fliss has a strong background in human resources and recruiting, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. Valerie has held various roles throughout their career, working for companies such as Planar Systems, PRO Unlimited, KellyOCG, Odesus Inc., Wella, Procter & Gamble, Metro Information Services, and DP Specialists. Valerie's experience includes managing essential HR functions, partnering with global counterparts, and overseeing day-to-day operations for staffing services. Valerie has also led recruiting teams, sourced and hired professionals across various industries, and managed client relationships.

Valerie Hillstad-Fliss began their education journey at Cuesta College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts between the years 1990 and 1991. Valerie then went on to attend San Francisco State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Arts from 1992 to 1994. Continuing their academic pursuits, Valerie pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Psychology at John F. Kennedy University from 1995 to 1997.
