Monte Harner, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management within the defense sector. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Planate Management Group LLC since February 2019, Monte previously held several key leadership positions within the United States Air Force from May 1992 to June 2017. Notably, Monte was the Division Chief of Installations Strategy and Plans, overseeing a $11B annual budget and the management of installation facilities for 182 bases worldwide. Additional leadership roles included Commander of the 341st Mission Support Group, Director of Engineering for the NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan, and various facilities-focused positions with increasing responsibility. Monte holds a Master’s Degree in Military Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, a Master’s Degree in Engineering & Environmental Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
