Usha Pillai, Ph.D., is a seasoned sustainability consultant with extensive experience in helping businesses achieve climate sustainability goals. Currently serving as a Sustainability Consultant at New Sky and as an Advisory Board Member at Planckton Data, Usha Pillai also holds the position of Sustainability Specialist at JointValues®️ and Chairperson of the North Reading Green Alliance. Previous roles include Sustainability Consultant at Your Carbon Steps and member of the North Reading Recycling Committee, where Usha Pillai advanced sustainable waste management practices. With a robust background in technology management and consulting, Usha Pillai has expertise in AI system design and emerging technologies. Usha Pillai earned a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
