Aaryn Olsson

Aaryn Olsson is a seasoned software engineer and educator with extensive experience in geospatial technology and data analysis. Currently, Aaryn serves as a Software Engineer at Planet and an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Arizona, teaching Open Source GIS software. Previous roles include positions at Boundless Spatial, Inc. focusing on geospatial web and database development, a data scientist role at Xerox, and an R&D scientist at NGA, where Aaryn engaged in data architecture and workflow transformations. Aaryn holds a Ph.D. in Arid Lands Resource Studies, a Master's in Renewable Natural Resources, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science, all from the University of Arizona.
