Anika Ilieva

Anika Ilieva is a Space Systems Engineer in Space Operations at Planet since August 2024, previously serving as a Working Student in the same department from May 2023 to January 2024. In this role, Anika focuses on the operation of highly automated satellite systems, specifically the SuperDove constellation, and is responsible for identifying, triaging, root-causing, and resolving satellite anomalies. Anika holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, expected in September 2025, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, obtained from February 2024 to June 2024. Anika previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in November 2022 and completed a high school diploma at the 91 German Language School "Prof. Konstantin Galabov" in June 2018, with a focus on German, English, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
