Chippie Kislik, PhD, is currently a Presales Engineer at Planet, with a background in remote sensing and water resources. As a PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley, from August 2017 to May 2022, Chippie conducted research in the Maggi Kelly remote sensing lab, utilizing satellite imagery and drone technology for water resource management. Chippie received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship from 2019 to 2022 and completed a Fulbright research project analyzing algal blooms in the Galapagos Islands. Previous experience includes management roles at NASA Ames Research Center's DEVELOP National Program and environmental outreach with the San Francisco Department of the Environment. Chippie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Remote Sensing and Water Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education and Water Resources, with a minor in GIS.
