Corbin Kling

Corbin Kling, Ph.D., is a Customer Success Manager for Federal at Planet since February 2022. Prior to this role, Corbin served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution, focusing on landscape change in arid environments through high-resolution temporal drone observations. Academic experience includes serving as a NASA Earth and Space Science Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, where responsibilities included teaching Structural Geology and Introductory Geology labs. Corbin gained practical experience as an Earth Scientist Intern with ExxonMobil and Chevron, alongside research roles at the Center for Applied Isotope Studies and the University of Georgia. Corbin holds a Ph.D. in Geology/Earth Science from North Carolina State University, and additional degrees from the University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University in related fields.
