Kavya Racharla

Kavya Racharla is an accomplished professional in software security, currently serving as the Director of Software Security at Planet since January 2020. Prior experience includes positions at Intel Corporation, where Kavya worked as a Security Research Manager focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality, as well as Lead Security Researcher for Wearables, IoT, and Cognitive Computing. Kavya's career also includes roles as a Solaris Security Engineer at Oracle and as a Software Security Engineer at Qualcomm. Early career experience includes an academic background at Johns Hopkins University, where Kavya earned a Master’s degree in Information Security, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam.
