Millan Diaz-Aguado

Millan Diaz-Aguado is an experienced Thermal Engineer currently working at Planet since September 2021. With a strong background in aerospace engineering, Millan has held various positions including Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University in early 2022, and Aerospace Systems Engineer at Millennium Engineering and Integration, where responsibilities included integration and testing leadership. Previous roles include Sr. Research Engineer at SRI International, where Millan supported CubeSat proposals and environmental projects, and Instrument Thermal Engineer for key missions at Space Sciences Laboratories, UC Berkeley. Education includes a PhD in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and multiple degrees in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
