Kate Sheka

Kate Sheka has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as the Director of Marketing Operations at Planful since 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Marketing Operations at EveryAction from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at EAB, including Director of Marketing Operations & Digital Marketing, Associate Director of Marketing Operations, Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Manager between 2016 and 2020. Before joining EAB, they worked as a Web Editor at The Advisory Board Company in 2015 and as a Copy Editor at STATS LLC from 2015 to 2015. Kate began their career at Advicent Solutions in 2013, where they held roles as a Communications Specialist and Content Writer. In their role at Advicent Solutions, they played a key role in the company's rebranding efforts and contributed extensively to the creation of financial content for Advisor Briefcase.

Kate Sheka attended Michigan State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a dual major in Professional Writing and Spanish. Kate then participated in the Spanish Language and Literature program at the University of Virginia in Valencia, Spain.
